That said, IF Eriksen's ambition was to win the league in England, he would only join a club where he sees it as a possibility. Would he join a club if they were about to sell their best player who represented their only hope of doing well? Somehow, I doubt it.

It’s got to be transfer price and or wages, that’s stopping us from signing him, since we’re not linked with anyone better than him at the moment, and considering he’s reported to be an LFC fan and has indicated a desire to come here. Also it’s not because we’re not in the market for an AM, we are.

I'm sure fans of other clubs feel the same about their clubs too. It's not just a case of saying "here's £xm for your player" and the other club saying "thanks it's a deal" they're complicated matters especially when a club doesn't want to sell and there's a third party involved as reported with that Armenian.

When you have the money of City, Chavs, Monaco, PSG, Real life is a lot easier.
