Football is all about money mick morals went long ago ofcorse your right stanley but it doesn't make it right or fair that a player gets treated differently because of his ability and worth, how is that a fair working environment. Maybe stanley some of the Clubs troubles have stemmed back to lack of morals and values within the club to the point were we are today, Sir Alex ruled with a rod of Iron and so too does Wenger, they lay down the law that nobody is bigger than the club and all players are equal, just a thought.

The same Utd that stood by Cantona, and Ferdinand's missed drugs tests, Rooney's desire to leave... and the same one who reined in Beckham, Keane, Ince, Stam, Yorke and Rooney towards the end, the point I am making is Sir Alex treated all players the same and as soon as they tried to gain more power within the dressing room or thought they were bigger than the club he shipped them out.

Ferguson generally sells players when they are of most value, and therefore are most easily replaced with the money brought in... Not because their ego's were too big. He likes players with big ego's, because the mentality holds well in a dressing room full of winners Mick.
Ferguson and Wenger do a great job in keeping players happy, whilst also giving them an opportunity to move when their use to the team is replaceable for a sale value that has been brought in. Under the committee, we are looking to do the same under Rodgers. Enough with the "but they do this" comments because it makes us seem a smaller club than we actually are. It is this small club mentality that is harming our reputation, more than a few incidents on the pitch. There are some fans on here happy to make us seem like just another mid-table club like West Brom, Newcastle, Fulham and Swansea. It is plainly untrue.

Is he better than true greats like jimmy case or ray kennedy ??? quite correct faz, ability is measured in different ways if it went on ability Matt Le Tissier, Titi Camara, Luis Garcia and Paul Gascoine would be regarded as the best players in the last 25 years. If we are talking legends then Suarez is not on the same planet as those two you have just mentioned there again not even Steven Gerrard is above them two.

There has been something puzzling me about our fans which was highlighted again during this Suarez affair and was wondering if people can shed some light. Since all this Suarez thing started with him shooting his mouth off, telling all on sundry how hard done by he has been treated, how much of an honour it would be to play for Real Madrid, how he has not been backed enough and now the latest thing about lifting his skirt to Arsene Wenger and the Gooners there is something I dont quite get about our fans.
All we have heard from many is how he never said these things, how fellow fans have turned on him, how the media have turned it into a witchunt and basicaly made every excuse there is to provide him with an alibi for his comments and actions and I include the Evra affair in all this too, it seems its everybodies fault except the man himself to some.
Now to my question, why is it that when it comes to situations like this our fans continue embarrass themselves by pleading with him and the Club to stay with us even after everything which has happend and been said, its like when a girlfriend or wife cheats on you, when you have given them enough love, attention and money and you get on your knees crying and begging for them not to leave you, its really that embarrassing.
This is not the first time I have witnessed this behavior as we all seen it when Gerrard threatend to leave us twice before for something better, fans wore black armbands, flags at half mast and we all remember the snivveling Rick Parry on the steps of Anfield with tears in his eyes saying Gerrard has asked to leave.
You see I look at this and situations at other Clubs and will give you some examples of fans in similar situations behave, Our dear old Friend Rio Ferdinand many moons ago threatend to leave United because they would'nt make him the games first 100k a week player, the Club was in stalemate with him yet while it was going on Ferdinand was booed every time he touched the ball in all United's friendlies by his own fans, anyway he signed his deal and it stopped, same thing has happend recently with Rooney alledgedly asking for a move as he did'nt want to play second fiddle to RVP, he was booed on the tour of the City bus everytime he held aloft the League championship trophy by United fans in the City.
I will now move on to another player who is currently being told to either stay or f*ck off and thats Benteke at Villa, now Benteke is more important to Villa than Suarez is to Liverpool by a distance because the hopes of Villa staying up rest on his shoulders but again the fans have voiced there opinion that if he doesnt show willing then he can leave, there is no pleading, begging or even making any excuses its either put up or shut up.
Like I say I find some Liverpool fans making Suarez seem bigger than the Club a real embarrassment with there constant begging and pleading that he stays to the point even blaming the Club aswell as making excuses for him. I know I say its a completely different Club than the one I used to know but surely we have'nt sunk that low we we have to beg an alledged racist biter to plaease stay and play for us next season while we pay you 130k a week. I want him to stay but that doesn't mean I think he is bigger than club. What does 'bigger than the club' even mean??? Selling our best player won't take us up a level as we are unable to attract a high enough quality to replace him. As for your comparison of Benteke and Suarez.....are you ill???? Suraez is far more important to us than Benteke is to Villa! Would you have preferred it if Gerrard left when he asked for a transfer? Do you think Ferguson was mad to try and keep cantona, rooney, keane, beckham etc after their differences? The best option isn't always the easiest one. Part of Brendan's job as a manager is to keep his players happy and retain the ones that will benefit the club. Regarding the media comments from Suarez; they all contradict each other so which one do you CHOOSE to believe and why? The fact that there is no consistency suggest to me that we don't know all of the story and neither do the media. They julst fill in the blanks with what they think will sell...hence the inconsistencies. Finally, why do you care what happnes to him? You come on here with a new name every other week spouting your hate filled ramblings to decent forum members. There's no need to call fellow reds 'an embarassment' just because they have a different opinion to you. If you're sole aim is to just have digs and wind people, why not try the teamtalk forum. Or Nickelodeon.

Or Nickelodeon. ofcorse Benteke is more important to Villa than Suarez is to us, can you really not see a club staying in the premier league is more important than a team like us maybe moving up from 7th place to 6th. You go on to illucinate about so called hate filled rants, where exactly are they, you obviously don't read the replies my posts get, come back when you have read them. The other thing you mention is embarrassing Liverpool fans, some are and I stand by that, how can anyone make excuses for Luis Suarez, the man has brought everything down on himself and fans swallow his feeble excuses, the Evra incident yes he did call him a racist word and then assaulted him, the bite yes he did nite his opponent it's clear for all to see and now we are getting the I want out because of the British press against him yet at the same time he is lifting his skirt to Arsenal saying he is flattered that they are interested in him and would consider it. So yes any Liverpool fan who wants to swallow these lies and back him after the way he has treated the club and fans is an embarrassment in my eyes, no hate there just common sense and facts.
