Have you actually followed him since he came in? The guy has played about 6 times and had a number of injuries. This ridiculous pattern continues.............every player is a robot, every young player LFC sign at 'punt money' (and this is these days for a striker) should perform like Messi from game one and contribute 20 goals in their first season or they're Conference stuff!
The lad's come on after returning from injury, has all the mental stuff going on and no doubt feels under pressure anyway and then gets a dislocated shoulder in minutes.
Impossible to judge him until he gets a run in the side and is settled into the place and team. He is a young Liverpool player and it appears all people want to do is put the boot in and do the complete opposite of 'support' or show some empathy with the lad.
It really is sad stuff.
Sorry but if you actually read my post you would see that I said I really liked the lad and he did have talent. However one goal in a season for a striker is poor even if he missed half it with injuries.
I did read it, it's not a season, half a season or anything other. It's 6 games, 5 of which have been in the EPL.
There is nothing poor in one goal in 6 for a 21 year old guy at a new club that we bought on a 'potential' punt and hampered by niggling injuries throughout the 6 poxy games. Nothing what so ever.
Glad you like the lad though. Hope he gets some decent support next season when he regains fitness. Will be a frustrating few months I'd imagine.
