that's a shame, with Johnson at left back and Enrigue left wing, we could have cut Valencia out of the game and at the same time ran rings around Rafael at RB

The one thing you can't do when you play United is sit back and let them come at. They'll just come in waves and eventually they'll unlock the door.
The boys need to rise to the occasion and go for it.
Luckily Gerrard usually plays with immense passion against them. Nothing seems to faze Sterling, and Suarez, well, he thrives on the kind of treatment he'll get at OT.

We CAN beat anyone on our day ,sadly our day doesn't come often enough. I'm never confident when we go to Old Toilet , BR's system will be key , but shouldn't be his or the team's defining moment.

apparently we are playing some manchester team of sorts on sunday, suppose we should talk about it and stuff.
i have two wishes for sunday (especially after that fckin whiskey lush has been in the media having a go today).
1. I hope we beat them 3-1 in an absolute cracker.
2. I hope someone positively breaks up Van Persie. ("disgraceful, wanting a player to be injured". i didnt say injured, i said breaks him up. injured doesnt cut it.)
This is a big moment BR, hope you take it with both hands. A win on Sunday would go a long way to convincing fans you are the right man for the job. Yes RVP needs to be 'broken up' , i know what you mean, wouldnt want anything nasty to happen to him especially stamping or anything like that, given the fact that he is lucky to be alive after the football hit him on the head, I really think one heavy challenge will be too much for him. I also hope Evra does not get a serious injury if playing

Absolute rubbish how any Liverpool fan can prefer beating Norwich to man utd is beyond me totally. I can follow.your logic but really why do you bother supporting the club if you cannot get worked up about beating the old enemy then you need to take up some other interest stan i agree fully. faz why are you still using words like defining when i never said that in the first place., can you stop changing the original point? as for red4life, nice try, you'll have to do better. the suggestion that are rival is now norwich instead of utd. its sounds like something that rhymes with bumming.

ask rio ferdinand.
do you think any one will give a toss this time next year that we beat norwich?
nope. do you hear gergie in the press talking about the upcoming norwich game or their key players trying to psyche them out? no.
if we were playing norwich tomorrow it wouldnt exactly be super sunday now would it.

You see this is where you are getting mixed up, Liverpool fans for personal reasons might want to beat United but for the Club itself the game against Norwich is more important because come the end of the season Norwich City are going to somewhere around us probably who knows they could be battling it out for a top 7 place with us...

The way I see it is 3 points are 3 points whether we get them at United or Norwich. If we can't do enough in the 2nd half of the season to outscore Norwich points wise then we don't deserve to be above them anyway
