apparently we are playing some manchester team of sorts on sunday, suppose we should talk about it and stuff.

i have two wishes for sunday (especially after that fckin whiskey lush has been in the media having a go today).

1. I hope we beat them 3-1 in an absolute cracker.

2. I hope someone positively breaks up Van Persie. ("disgraceful, wanting a player to be injured". i didnt say injured, i said breaks him up. injured doesnt cut it.)

This is a big moment BR, hope you take it with both hands. A win on Sunday would go a long way to convincing fans you are the right man for the job.

2 wins at OT since 2004 so i dont expect a victory , but one thing is clear win, lose or draw it means nothing to the season only 3 or 1 or no points , as far as i am concerned liverpool can win , but no point in beating united and not beating norwich next week which just or even more important than sunday.

i agree with that faz, 3 points against utd is a waste if you lose to norwich, but it is a statement of intent for rogers if he can put a side out there who can get a result in cuuntsville. plus i just want to see us stuff them, i would love suarez to do the business, just to see fergies face.

Do you suggest BR to go all in and use the attacking 4-3-3 with Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge...

Or 4-2-3-1 with Suarez as a lone ranger and hit them on the break / late on?

If BR goes for them, Which I can't see happening. He should be applauded for trying surely as opposed to hung out to dry for giving an attacking formation away from home against our main rivals.

I said on my "Who would you play" thread that I think he'll pack the midfield with Hendo, Allen, Gerrard and Lucas with Downing and then hit them with everything in the last 30 mins when their defense is tired.

Gung Ho? Or a more tactical methodical approach?

I don't think Suarez can top the "dive" infront of Moyes... That was probably one of the most audacious moves and show of character I've seen in a derby game. Still love it, Makes me chuckle just thinking about it smile

eliminating rvp is essential. we have done it before with ronaldo in the past and it has paid off. its all very well going ll out attack and i will give BR plaudits for it as long as it isnt a shiite system that dies on its arse.

packing the midfield is likely, however too defensive is just bringing on trouble. im guessing he will give their defence something to think about. sturridge with suarez behind, 4-4-1-1.

what a ridiculous thing to say faz. no one suggested anything of the sort, are you just trying to start arguments?

not me your the one talking about making it rodgers d-day and all that , yes beating manchester united is always big and important but winning or losing will not define the season but norwich might and certainly oldham in the cup will .
