h is before s in my dictionary anyway... I know I was using comedy as it always helps me remember the point that you must work hard for success. The point is valid though.

No he never and he paid the price, all I am saying is although us as a football club are no longer big enough or able enough to win another League I still think its not out of the question to still be in with a shout or within a few points come February or March considering players we have had and money in which we have spent. Under Benitez we stayed in contention just once after Xmas in all the time he was manager, which was the season we finished second, alrite we may have only had the League to concentrate on after January because we were out of all the Cups nearly but to just do it once in all that time after what he spent is for me total disgrace, he never ever got to gripps with the Premier League although I do admit he did well in the Champions League with his tactics... Thank god we sacked him then eh ? We can now still waste millions on average players without the stress of worrying about finishing top 4, or playing in CL semi finals - I really used to hate those European nights, played havoc with my blood pressure...

I'm soooooo much happier now we're sitting in 10th... but benitez left a terrible squad fighting with gerrard and carragher , benayoun left because of benitez , mascherano wanted away eventually going on strike , giving massive contracts to aquilani who the club are still paying wages too and jovanovic , and a squad dalglish felt he had to spend over £100 million over the squad benitez left , yes he did have success but he started the decline with his stubborness and in-fighting with players ,staff(pako ayesteran) etc etc and 3 managers on the club hasnt recovered from the decline started by benitez and H&G equally.

Oooooo i didnt know this till i read it just now in a sky sport article.
a 3-1 loss at Stoke on Boxing Day left Rodgers' men with 25 points from 19 games, the same record they had during the short-lived reign of the much-criticised Roy Hodgson.
by that reckoning, he has to go. plus there was more down playing of purchases in the transfer window which means either the owners need to fck off, or they have lost faith in rodgers and they have already given him the asgreed length of rope to do what he will with and so far he has emulated... roy hodgson. Hodgson managed the team for one more match before getting the sack. So by that reckoning, if we beat QPR then Rodgers will have amassed 3 more points than Hodgson got in his entire reign of the same amount of games. Either way, it's not good enough, we all know that. I think there's a massive difference in the quality of football and also in the overall feeling between the two reigns. Under Hodgson we were getting beaten by teams at the bottom of the league, which isn't happening so much under Rodgers, but we're not beating any teams up the other end, unfortunately. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing - or neither! There's no shadow of a doubt in my mind though that he has to be given time. Making a change now is absolutely out of the question and to be honest, stupidity. I think he has to be given until the season's end and it should be reviewed then. The only way I can see him not getting at least that long, is if we go on a horrendous run losing game after game and looking like the players don't want to play for him. You've well and truly come out of the closet with that post Bar.... I don't get it..?

i its the nature of the beast after 3 previous managers not being able to stop the clubs decline started by benitez , its now come down to brendan rodgers to try to stop the decline with the worst squad liverpool have had since the 1950's arguably , ok he hasnt done everything right and has made mistakes , but he has done some right as well but its not been enough to turn this club around yet, but until people realise the problems are massive and its gradually gone bigger due to the dross previous managers left , and now people think bringing back an ex failed manager again will solve these problems when its was that failed ex manager who put the club in this downward slide , when bringing back ex failed manager has burnt our finger badly you think people might learn .
