Yeah I couldn't believe some of the anti-semitic comments that that one chap got away with. I got banned for far less. If it were my forum I wouldn't censor anything but racism or hate speech. Let the handbags go and allow freedom of speech.

Dream on..............

Kind of like your 'doubters' thread then yeh? Different rule for him though? I see.

On the topic at hand, whilst the points and position in the table do not lie, I feel more positive under Rodgers than I did under Hodgson, Roy was never gonna improve, the whole appointment of him was farsical to begin with, with Rodgers I think everything suggests he's going to be given a bit of time (short of being very close to the relegation zone), I'd certainly be willing to give him that time, I think he has the makings of a good coach, and could push us on, maybe not to top 4 however. The only thing I have doubts about is his nouse in the transfer market, and that's something we are soreeeely missing. His last transfer window was disgusting, yet another year of wasted millions. He spent plenty and plenty to improve our first 11, and he bought players that didn't. They might do in a couple of years time but you can't just hope for that, you need to build for now as well as the future. Allen and borini were silly signings at that time, and now he wants to pay 12 million for a player chelsea want to pay a million to just to get rid of. Utter retardness in the transfer windows so far. ANd this was meant to be a strength of his.

So that's my only serious gripe with him as of yet, but hopefully he can change my mind in the coming windows.

Glad my posts are memorable for you. Now who were you before your current moniker? Someone mentioned it a few posts back....

Nobody, mybloodisred has been here for a while so there is no need to throw accusations.

. Nowhere near good enough? Are you having a laugh? He got us to our highest PL points tally and closest to wining the PL in the last 20 years? He also won us several cups and a CL title...if that is not good enough for the PL, what is? Let's not forget he also has us playing CL football regularly! Perhaps your opinion of good enough for the PL and LFC is sitting in 8th on the league table.

Ridiculous IMO! Shameful even...
the man brought us just one single championship challenge after xmas in 6 years at the Club, we were out of contention of the title in the other five before xmas how in a million years is that good enough for us in the Premier League. Now alrite I dont expect us to win the League now ever but I expect us to maybe stay in contention at least until maybe February or March before falling away, the man with what he spent and what we got back in return Premiership wise was a disgrace...

No he never and he paid the price, all I am saying is although us as a football club are no longer big enough or able enough to win another League I still think its not out of the question to still be in with a shout or within a few points come February or March considering players we have had and money in which we have spent. Under Benitez we stayed in contention just once after Xmas in all the time he was manager, which was the season we finished second, alrite we may have only had the League to concentrate on after January because we were out of all the Cups nearly but to just do it once in all that time after what he spent is for me total disgrace, he never ever got to gripps with the Premier League although I do admit he did well in the Champions League with his tactics...

I still have complete faith in the current regime. The only place success comes before hard work is in the dictionary.

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.
