Most football fans can see that we're not playing any better than we did under dalglish. Have you seen us 'defend'?? Have you seen us try and put the ball in the net?? You might be impressed with 600 passes sideways or backwards but I'm not, and I don't think it's a sign that we are moving forward. Neither is our league position. Each to his own though.
Why should players need time to adapt to a new club? Most of BR's signings are english and know the league, or they already knew Brendan and had worked with him before. Please stop making excuses!! assaidi, allen, yesil, sahin and borini are english? Asaaidi & yesil don't count as they don't even play. Sahin & borini only have a handful of appearances between them. The only relevant comment you made is that Allen isn't english. Considering he speaks english, knows BR, knows the league and has worked with BR before, it hardly disproves my point.

to prove it uTd finsished from 82-86 no lower than 4th with 70,74,76,76 points. Fergie comes in and they get 56,51,48,56,59 points, so exactly how did he improve them exactly?
Those figures aren't quite correct though. His first season did end up with 56 points, but they were second bottom when he took over so he did improve them in getting them upto 11th. His second season (87 - 88) they finished 2nd with 81 points. So again an improvement. He then took them backwards for the next couple of years and then we all know what happened after that. If anything the Ferguson case adds weight to the argument we should never have sacked Rafa rather than giving any indication of how BR is doing so far. However, I'm not opening that can of worms again !

I know you're known around here for your refusal to ever admit when you're wrong, but even for you, this is kinda remarkable. Who are all these players who make up the basis for the "Most of BR's signings are english" comment? Drome has just named 5 signings - NONE of whom are english - was there even any other signings who WERE english? If there was, I can't think of who they are right now  Yet your retort is to tell Drome that his comment is irrelevant and that it doesn't disprove your point (It does. Clearly). Come on, mate.
