Most football fans can see that we're not playing any better than we did under dalglish. Have you seen us 'defend'?? Have you seen us try and put the ball in the net?? You might be impressed with 600 passes sideways or backwards but I'm not, and I don't think it's a sign that we are moving forward. Neither is our league position. Each to his own though.
Why should players need time to adapt to a new club? Most of BR's signings are english and know the league, or they already knew Brendan and had worked with him before. Please stop making excuses!! assaidi, allen, yesil, sahin and borini are english?

seriously liverpool could have a new manager every 6 or 7 months for years and years , similar to manchester city in the 80's and 90's no stability what so ever and the club going into further decline but if thats what the masses want . City are known for changing managers regularly and they are the current premier league champions...... Chelsea are know for changing managers regularly, and are the current FA cup holders and champions of europe...... Madrid are known for changing managers regularly, and they are the most successful side ever in europe...... all those clubs have a negative sugar daddy Ok. How about Everton then? They haven't changed managers for god knows how long and haven't won a single thing in that time. It's good management that is required, not eternal patience. Like us, they used to be big - the difference is, their fans have accepted that they are no longer one of the big boys and are happy just being in the top 10. They don't come out with ludicrous comments about finishing runner up this year either.

Haven't been on for a couple of days - can't wait to get stuck into this "Rodgers bashing" thread. How I've missed this place...

??? Wrong about 'what' exactly? What have I said that is incorrect? Carheex - you said that Fergie immediately improved UTD when he arrived through good management. Which I said is utter tosh. to prove it uTd finsished from 82-86 no lower than 4th with 70,74,76,76 points. Fergie comes in and they get 56,51,48,56,59 points, so exactly how did he improve them exactly? Also, for those us around will tell you he spent shed loads of money and was one game away from the sack. being bottom on christmas day being a low point. the relevance to you is simple, give the manager at least a season and not 5/6games which you did have before you started to get on his back. Good managers need time.

Yeah drome, I was on the verge of pointing that out to him myself, but you know I just couldn't be arsed, the guy just goes round and round with the same old gibberish and refuses to take anything else on board, everybody is wrong except him.

Some people are getting confused here. I never said Ferguson delivered constant improvement every year until he reached the top, so why dig up results over a 5 year period??. The comparisons were in relevance to BR's first 6 months. I very clearly stated that he brought about an immediate improvement as he took Utd from relegation zone to a top half finish (in the same amount of time that BR has taken us down to the bottom half of the table). If you dont think that is immediate improvement then I can't help you.
