That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Nah - the best thread I've seen is the "ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY". Cracks me up!

(That may already describe him but he shouldn't be hanging himself out to dry as it reflects badly on the club.)
We should aim for 7th - a slight improvement on last year and very achieveable. If we finish higher then it boosts everyone connected to the club. Aiming for 2nd WILL lead to disappointment and will put massive pressure on BR.

We need to be ambitious but must adopt a pragmatic mindset until we have taken steps forward. No point in trying to run before we can walk.

It's obvious you'll disagree no matter what he does...

Can we be anything but pragmatic and look forward SP... the alternative is spiritual decay!

Not true at all. I'm 100% behind BR's decision to leave Henderson out of the team whenever possible. I'm 100% behind his decision to get rid of the useless Andy Carroll. And I'm 100% behind his decision to drop Reina in favour of Jones for a while. I was 100% behind his hope to sign Dempsey and I am 100% behind his idea to play Enrique further forward (he should try the same with Johnson).

Get your facts right please.

no were not, we stopped being football fans years ago, we are now customers and clients now.

Just for the record Stanley, I have accepted we are no longer a big Club years ago mate, famous old name yes but a big Club sorry no more, I think we are a club who if we have the best season possible could reach about 5th but most probably each season more likely anywhere between 7th and 9th.
It's not that I am being defeatist, just been too many false dawns over the last 20 odd years, the Club is no longer geared towards Champions League football as we are not big enough and don't have the infilstructure, top 6 or 7 place and a domestic cup each season with good attacking football will do for me, owners who actually care and the Club returning to the true fans is just a dream too far unfortunately...

Stanley we are not a champions league Club unfortunately, the top four are on a whole different level both on and off the field than us, even the fifth best team Spurs look a couple of years off being caught and that's only if we ever got our act together which unfortunately doesn't look like happening. We have new rivals we need to try and stay in front of now like Everton, Newcastle, Stoke, Fulham and West Brom...
