Or, keep Sterling here because in 2 or 3 years he should be better than both of them.

Im struggling here are you being sarcastic? Do you suggest we sell them all now and just get rid of our academy altogether? Wisdom, Kelly, Jonjo, Suso and Sterling at the moment imo would get games at alot of premier league clubs.
We just need to find the balance between youth and experience, also note that the only reason these players are playing is because our squad is so thin so your point doesn't really stand. Keep our youth and invest is the simple answer.

Yes... lad. I dont know if you understand but the youth is the plan b if there's no investment imo. In fact, there's no need for a plan b, or plan A.
Our overall plan since Brendan came in should be and probably was bring in 2 - 3 players (allen, borini, assaidi) add these to the squad to replace the outgoings which was happening before rodgers came (kuyt, bella, maxi) and then with the current squad take a season to squeeze out the deadwood (downing, cole, hendo, doni, spearing, carrol) whilst maybe adding 1 or 2 signings in Jan.
Then come June we'll have a much better understanding as to where we are and in the summer can maybe invest proper to take us to the next level.
If we finish 6th - 8th this season which I think we will we could only need around 20 - 40 million over the next 2 windows to make a real push towards that top 4.

As much as I like Sterling he is making all the wrong noises...he's in the media for all the wrong reasons and you can see he has an attitude problem. I don't think BR is handling it all too well but I think he is just being honest and saying what we are all thinking. Raheem has a golden opportunity to become a fan favorite, one of our boys, and to develop into a top class footballer and he would be Foolish not to recognize that and sign the contract. It really does boil down to that.
The problem as I see it is that to be honest, I think he is a bit foolish which could cost us and himself.

What noises? I havent seen him much in the media at all. All Ive seen is paper speculations.
I dont worry about him signing or not. If he signes! GREAT! if he wont sign. Well sell him or let him rotten in the reserves at his remaining time.
I dont belive alle the paper talks... Things are dealt with behind closes doors. The only fool here in my opinion is Rodgers comments...

Sterling was on Twitter and distanced himself from all the paper talk, he has certainly not asked for 50k thats mischief making. Thats not to say though that there is not a difference between what is being discussed. he will sign but LFC will not be held to ransom by a 17yr old rookie.

I think if he stops flapping his arms so much when running, he'll control the ball better.

I can't believe some of the trash I'm reading on here. The lad has done nothing except step up to the plate and deliver consistent performances at a time when the squad is so weak it beggars belief.
Why all the vitriol?
He's 17 and of course he's not the finished article. But he is at least on a par with Walcott at 17 and ahead of what Sturridge will ever be. We should be making him feel like we really want him at the club, not going on like we can't wait for him to go so we can all call him a money grabber.
Get a grip people, he is exactly what we need if we are going to move upwards in the future.
