How come you call us a midtable club and at the same time consider us being likely to drop out of the league? at present finishes in the last three seasons of 7th, 6th and 8th tell us we are a mid table Club, since January we have won 6 games up to date and we are currently in the relegation zone, form tells us we are heading for relegation with thats sort of record, if it was Blackburn or Wolves evey person on here would agree thats the record of a relegation Club but because we are Liverpool it just gets dismissed because of our reputation.

You say you want to point out that LFC is a mid table club. My question is to whom? Shouldn't you be writing letters to the management instead of going on a crusade on a fan forum? I mean, you're right that we've not played well for some time now, but it's not that long ago that we lifted the CL trophy, it's not that long ago that millions and millions were pumped into our club to reinforce us (from owners who have a reputation for being willing to spend big money on their sports franchise(s)), and we're still amassing some of the strongest sponsorship deals in the world. What makes you think LFC is just going to quietly slip into the night and become a League One team? I'm not saying that everything is rainbows and unicorns at the club, but I have a problem accepting the (baseless) idea that LFC is somehow in the same league of, say, Wigan. It's simply not true.

It's simply not true. we are exactly the same as teams like Newcastle, Fulham, West Brom and Everton it's only our past reputation which people decides makes us different, how long do people want us to live off the backs of our history for 5 years, 10, 20, 30 how long do we give it.

Look only a fool or the most deluded red in the world would say Liverpool is in a strong position at the moment. I have followed football for near 50 years and I can tell you the unexpected can and does happen in football.
The examples are too many to list but a few that time Liverpool were mid table at Xmas and when on to win the league, Istanbul, Greece winning the euro championships etc etc etc. You need to be realistic but if you don’t believe in reasonable hope there is little point in following football.
I don’t think we will get champions league football this season but if you asked me do I think we can? Then I would say yes even now, even with the start this season and even without a recognised goal scorer in the team. I believe we have a top manager who will soon start to influence and get results maybe not now but definitely post Christmas which is the critical part of the season.
I also believe we have signings to come in January and 2 to 3 youngsters who I think will take the premiership by storm. There are no end of negatives I could list but then why would I follow my club ? what would be the point?
If we beat Utd well tomorrow then as far as I am concerned its game on. I will not give up on 4th place until its mathematically impossible for us to do it as a middle aged red I know no other way and nor should any of you wherever you live whatever your age.
Paisley and Shankly did not achieve greatness festering in a sea of what we can’t do! They focussed on what we could do!
Last season I would not have said this because I believed we had the wrong man in charge. Now I believe we have the RIGHT man in charge so let’s do our bit. Let’s aim for the champion’s league this season.
Starting tomorrow! What a joke thread. Right man in charge? Are you having a laugh? Is this some sort of sick joke? Or wind up? This guy has overseen our worst start for over 100 years, not bought a striker and there's nothing worse than a person who talks the talk, but then is so inept at walking the walk. We'll be on the receiving end or a thumping today. I'm gonna give it a miss today
