Better financial position -> 1 Step forward Lucas Injury -> 2 Step backwards Young prospects -> +1 Deadly striker -> -2
Team Quality 2012/13 > 2011/12
We can finish better than last year. Borini have the quality to make some fantastic runs. Time for Allen to play more balls forward than sideways. We need goals from MidField. Time for Shelvey as AM and SG08 as RF...
Agree with you that we have a better team than last year. However, not sure we have a better system, our defensive play is dreadful. If we finish better than last year I will be happy.

I am right and you know it, I have never known any supporter in real life with your attitude why do you follow LFC? or maybe you don't ? all that it is stanley is that we look at problems in two totaly different ways, you like to concentrate on the positive aspect whereas I like to concentrate on putting the negative aspect right, so we will never agree, having said that both are equaly as important as one another. Just for the record I think it's supporters like you which have damaged the club by pretending everything is fine and dandy in the Liverpool garden when its simply not, fans like you are why the club has drifted for so long instead of facing the problems head on, you just keep brushing it under the carpet and pretending its just a blip...

I have never seen him say that? Its his entitlement to have faith and belief, and its yours to look at things "scientifically"with form and facts, neither of you are right or wrong.Makes for good reading actually

Ged red I accept you need to put the negatives right and I am not saying you are necessarily wrong to say we are in effect finished as a top club. I think that myself sometimes. To put the record straight also I am not tipping us for 4th place as you quote I am saying we could get fourth but my best guess is we won't.
But my point is this any the whole point of following your club is you hope for the best when there is a reasonable chance of achieving it.
I have known Liverpool FC pull themselves out of far bigger fixes than this and if things click we could have a run at fourth place this season no bother at all and its nonsensical to throw the towel in in September or rather July in your case.
And thats what its all about otherwise why bother?
These thoughts are absent in you and I find that very strange indeed.

I think we can finish better than last season at least but if Henry gets his wallet out in January and invests into a champions league type of striker who can fire us then who's to say we won''t get top 4 or come mighty close?
Back to Back World Champions baby!

I will bother wether we drop down to the third division stanley, I dont support the Club just to see them win every week, its a way of life regardless wether they win lose or draw, I stick with them because there my home town club and its whats expected of me. I think we disagree because you think we have a reasonable chance of fourth, I dont, I just dont get what you are basing that on when you like me have seen the Club slide backwards getting worse and worse every season for the last 3 seasons, check the facts, we have won 6 games since January so why on earth do you think fourth place could be on the cards when with a run like that it would be more likely to get us relegated.

I think the club just might manage without you.

How come you call us a midtable club and at the same time consider us being likely to drop out of the league?
