you havent told me any valid reasons , i have asked is it just anyone who is involved in the british team there against ? or was it as i though just a suarez thing if so why wasnt bellamy backed the same ? So people who were "cheering on" Uruguay, mean they must be against a player playing for GB?  Here are your reasons why some people might have been cheering on Luis Suarez and Uruguay: Perhaps they are supporting Uruguay out of principal and moral?
They are seeing the example that has been made out of a foreigner in a foreign country, perhaps they believe we are all brothers and sisters and nobody, whatever nationality, color or creed, should be targeted like Luis Suarez has been in this country? Maybe just maybe, they see what the country and government is all about, maybe at times themselves they felt like Luis Suarez does now? Maybe they sympathize?
Maybe just maybe, they see a human?
Maybe they can support whoever they want to support, maybe they can do whatever they want to do.
I'm not from Liverpool, you gonna tell me I shouldn't be supporting Liverpool Football Club?

Why does anyone have to explain anything to you.
If someone wants to support Uruguay that's their choice.
It is none of your business and no one on this site is obliged to support Team GB .
It's an LFC Forum, you will get Olympic updates on BBC.

All support is based on a whim when you are a child there is an event that leads you to choose a team. Even if you live in Liverpool it can be Liverpool or Everton or Tranmere. I was brought up in cheshire it could have been one of five local teams I supported. But in any event who cares a damn how you choose to support the fact you do is what matters. disagree with that stanly I think football runs a bit deeper than a whim myself but thats what a forum is for to agree and disagree peoples points of view

I'm not from Liverpool, you gonna tell me I shouldn't be supporting Liverpool Football Club? what has craig bellamy done wrong for liverpool fans to wish him and his team to lose ? now if you tell the truth about your dislike for anything from this country then i might believe you all but this backing of suarez over bellamy sorry i dont get it and backing uruguay over the GB team dont get that either , i think someone said uruguay were under dog well i dont think so , as most thought GB wouldnt get out the group so i think GB were the underdogs , talk about xenophobia towards anything to do with the british team .
