I just don't like him. I dislike his face, his accent and he has shown no loyalty to Watford or Swansea.
I hope he succeeds here but I jut don't like him.
I realise this is a negative post. But I'm in that kind of mood. Very good arguments!! I dislike his face...:) Sounds like my 4 years old son.. Give Rodgers a chance. I belive he is a very talented manager. Not the typical "old School British".

He's signed a 3 year deal so they know it's a gamble where they are looking to minimise the pay-out if it turns sour.
I also question (if this does indeed fail miserably) if all of FSG investors will then want to continue with the LFC project!
Further, when people say give him time, define time? I wonder how many stadium supporters are going to do so if we are in the bottom 6 come January?
Realistic questions in no way meant to infer that it will indeed turn out that way.
I'm quietly positive and let's hope he can ship out those who don't wish to put in a full shift every game that's for sure.
I'm sick of 'stars' in the team. I want a squad with more the spirit of an Everton or Swansea.

well with the imminent arrival of Rodgers and hopefully YET ANOTHER NEW DAWN for the club, will FSG persist with the sacking of managers or give the guy at least 2 full season if all does not go to plan next year. dont get me wrong im not expecting Rodgers to fail miserably and i'll be fully behind when the season starts but FSG have left me baffled by this choice of manager if there not going to back him for the long term. what i mean is, he as not done brilliant at the 2 other clubs he was at before Swansea and as only one season in the PL under his belt. by following there trail of thoughts managers like George Burley, Alan Curbishly and even maybe Owen Coyle would have been in the running for managers job a few years ago if we were in the same circumstances.
i wish Rodgers well and hope he turns us into a top 4 team but i fear for the guy and what he could have let his self in for if things turn sour because it looks like you need Top 4 or you'll be sacked by FSG..
well if the boo boys get there way he wont get a chance , but if he is given a fair crack of the whip and allowed to progress then it will be good . thats a bit rich Faz ypu were one of the biggest boo boys against Kenny right from December. So why does BR change your opinion? be consistent. also there were no boo boys at Anfield this season, certainly not against Kenny that is for sure. If the footy is good and see genuine improvement I think he will be ok. There is alot more right at playing level than eople think, a few tweaks hera nad there and we are certainly worth 12+ more points, a succesful transfer window and maybe even 20points more. This is a great time to join LFC, i truly wish him all the success and have a feeling he will do rather well.

This is a great time to join LFC, i truly wish him all the success and have a feeling he will do rather well. hang on mate kenny was not long term and it was clear after multi millions spent it didnt work after he was 10 years out of the game , and after only winning 6 at home after all that money spent sorry any manager would have been sacked , now brendan is young ambitous and has been under the wing of jose and others in spain and holland where he did his coaching badges and has stated HE WANTS THE LIVERPOOL JOB which for me speaks volumes , now if the pro dalglish/benitez brigade are going to be hounding him out in sept or oct or as it was with roy 2 games in then the club will never move on and never challenge .

this appointment is totaly down to FSG,so they will give him the time he needs.they were presured into geing rid of Hodgson and taking on Dalglish but this is all their own work. Exactly right this is in effect their first appointment. If he has a poor first season he will not be sacked irrespective of anything the fans say. If it does not improve after season two then he will be sacked because there is too much money riding on it. A lot depends also on the backing the owners give him. I suspect they do want to invest substancially more in the team but after the debacle with the £114m they could nt trust Dalglish / Commoli. There is no reason not to be optimistic at the moment.

well you did not offer the same support to Kenny, you were on his back from November so why call others boo boys when in fact you are one of the worst on here. Don't be such a hypocrite and certainly don't try and pre judge others.
If BR's signings dont perform we should try and hound him out as thats the Faz way - oh wait a minute not anymore.
BR like Kenny will get my full support, I am consistent like that though.

Fans expectations have never changed but the game has
Top 4 is sucsess? Well tell Kenny that.
In a money driven game Rodgers needs some magic tricks but i like him as a person and personality is huge with the fans.
