well with the imminent arrival of Rodgers and hopefully YET ANOTHER NEW DAWN for the club, will FSG persist with the sacking of managers or give the guy at least 2 full season if all does not go to plan next year. dont get me wrong im not expecting Rodgers to fail miserably and i'll be fully behind when the season starts but FSG have left me baffled by this choice of manager if there not going to back him for the long term. what i mean is, he as not done brilliant at the 2 other clubs he was at before Swansea and as only one season in the PL under his belt. by following there trail of thoughts managers like George Burley, Alan Curbishly and even maybe Owen Coyle would have been in the running for managers job a few years ago if we were in the same circumstances.

i wish Rodgers well and hope he turns us into a top 4 team but i fear for the guy and what he could have let his self in for if things turn sour because it looks like you need Top 4 or you'll be sacked by FSG..

i get the feeling he will go wildy in one of two directions. totally relaunch liverpool into a successful patch, or die on his arse.

I just don't like him. I dislike his face, his accent and he has shown no loyalty to Watford or Swansea.

I hope he succeeds here but I jut don't like him.

I realise this is a negative post. But I'm in that kind of mood.

me personaly i would of never of sacking daglish to bring in rodgers, if i was sacking daglish for which i think he probably should of being sacked,we should of going for a top top manager to replace him and not a unproven one, however even though i not happy with this appointment,i am going to get behind him 100-precent and not be one of these fans waiting for him to loose his first 2 or 3 matches and start chanting benitez name, so lets hope he can bring some top players and get us back to where we belong in the CHAMPION,S LEAGUE....

He's completely there choice now so you'd expect him to get at least 2 years to show some progress. Anything higher than 8th it's an improvement I suppose. If he doesn't get time, like many have said, there's no point appointing a young, 'potentially' great manager.

U guys must remember the top managers didn't want the job. The circus is now finished so let's just think and be positive for the coming future.

this appointment is totaly down to FSG,so they will give him the time he needs.they were presured into geing rid of Hodgson and taking on Dalglish but this is all their own work.

Lets back him.

Us fans have been dealt a harsh blow by not winning the league in all this time but we have got to stop being a laughing stock of fans.

We need to back the manager.
