how can you replace gerrard come on , He is a born leader , nobody in liverpool squad could even do half the job he does

as regards work rate and performance in their respective positions, i think there are 3 or 4 players doing more than gerrard has done this season. just hasnt been at the races. the only thing i remember him doing this year is that sneaky lob goal from outside the box. nothing else comes to mind. needs to make a significant improvement next year, however with lucas back and 1 or 2 signings it might help him play to his strengths rather than having to come so deep for the ball.

He got the hattrick in the derby, scored a great freekick against Man Ure and scored a vital goal against Newcastle. Aside from those, he's been fairly below par for us this season, by his own standards. Hasn't been the driving force he has been over the years, and has had far too many mystery injuries.

right, remember them now. yea little flashes but we need that at least every second game from him. We got it even more regularly from him, in his day. I'd settle for every second game now though. The biggest problem is that he isn't even playing in every second game these days.
