I like this idea of Dempsey. If I read the reports right he's out of contract end of the season (so free) decent enough and Wenger is interested of whom I'd take judgement wise over anyone in the league. Give Kenny the little money that he wants for a winger and any in and out funds he generates and see how he goes. If it is clear then by mid-season that it is a repeat of this one, then the knife will have to fall and they'd better be on the Kop phone to Guardiola in the Bahamas begging.

Honestly Heggy I have to say that I'm not 100% convinced that Kenny can't turn it around although I know I should be. Surely he can't screw the winger up too. He's had the must do better bit and the Koptalk agent rumours point to a half-decent signing. Maybe I'm being too positive

bent is not the answer for us. think it would be a disasterous and expensive signing/flop..can't see it happenning

Not into guessing about half rumours, but the case of bent and players like him even being on the radar would worry me. We should have learned the lesson with carrol, the fact that a striker is big and strong does not always make the extra dimension they offer worth it when you consider lfc is traditionally a passing team. Bents no better than carrol bit faster maybe.
KD or the 'scouts' big joke that is , should be looking at doing what nufc have done that is down to good scouting nothing else .
