Is it just me, - but reading that we are linked to Darren Bent on the BBC's gossip pages just makes me angry. I know he can score goals, but he's 28, never made the step up with Tottenham, and does very little else in the modern game. This move would also cost a lot too. What's the betting we end up wasting another £15-20m on another boring BORING signing.

i dont know why so amny pple are against bent. we need a goal scorer and darren is one. he gets you goals and has done all his career. his got a bit of every thing about him. i would take him for any thing in the region of 10-15m. the type of player he is his still got at least 4 seasons in him

i really hope we don't want this clown, never has or will cut at the level we're looking for. he is one of those players who have a big reputation for really no reason. just like; bellamy, diarra, richards, busquets.
