I would definitely give him another chance. From what I've seen he was a very quality player that was not given time. The question is, does he want another chance?? None of us really know who was primarily behind the decision to ship him out on loan again this season - the club or the player? Maybe both? I remember his agent coming out with a load of crap in the media, contradicting himself every second day. That's a good point but there were always rumours that we let him go so his price wouldn't rise based on appearances he got with us. We won't know for sure I suppose but if he is willing to come back then the club should just pay Roma the extra cash and get on with it. Either way I want this Aquilani fiasco sorted because it has been 3 seasons and we are still talking about whether we should let him go or not.

I'll go mad if he's sent out on loan again this season. Surely next season will be the end of his contract anyway? I'd rather he stay with us next season and leave for free if it doesn't work out, than see him go out on loan again and still leave for free anyway!

Keep him, he cant be worse than Adam and he can bring a solid amount of first team experience. Who knows he could be the surprising player that helps us challenge

i dont rate aquilani one bit but he cant be any worse than downing, spearing adam and henderson so if he comes back give him a go cant be any worse .
