stan you have kinda guessed with a 25 million outlay. i have absolutely no idea how much will be released in the summer. i also dont know who we will sell in the summer either, its all open to option. tbh i think we will see two or three players come in and one go out. i think carroll is gone, hendo will be held as will adam (unfortunately). downing will also be here as bellers may not even make it through next season if the injury picks up.
as for players coming in, who knows. a striker anyway, maybe 2. a winger is coming i would say and maybe a midfield player if we only get one striker.
I have a feeling Hendo might be sent on loan or something. Caroll might move back to Newcastle, however for for half of what we paid. if andy carroll wasnt 35 million he would have been chased by any other club , its this price tag keeping him at the club and that is down to mismanagment

CP1972 back a few years when the first spade was going in, in the next 6 weeks I thought they had grants for the new station and the infrastruture I guess that has gone by the wayside now and there won't be any money anytime soon from the EU. However today a major part of the Ocean Gateway was announced called Liverpool 2. With the Panama canal widening the pannamax ships will come into Liverpool. Which means more rates for the council but knowing Liverpool city council they have probably spent it already.

Comolli does not seem to be adopting the same transfer philosophy as he did at spurs, for some reason

Comolli does not seem to be adopting the same transfer philosophy as he did at spurs, for some reason but the league form is down to dalglish , like he gets credit for the carling and F.A.Cup runs and win , he also get no credit for the dire league performance 30 league goals and only 4 wins at home even roy won 6 league games and that wasnt good enough .

it is obvious that kenny is not getting more stick because of who he is but at the end of the season that might not wash with the owners
If he stays he should def not get the same financial backing next transfer window as he did at the start of this season.
he should be made to work with what he bought this season and bring through some of the reserves gradually into the first team squad.

I cant see it myself like, Why on earth would Newcastle sign Andy Carroll when they have two strikers in Baa ands Cisse who will score at least twice as many goals than Carroll, also why would Pardew want to bring back a known trouble causer within the Club and the City back to the Football Club which might unrest the squad and fantastic season they are having, they have gone from strenghth to strenghth since he left.

after loads of money spent all the alleged rubbish player removed , dalglish in full control his own backroom staff enhanced with the appointment of kevin keen and the removal of sammy lee , all we could have asked for is improvement in the league position and maybe getting close or even getting near to a CL or premier league challenge , but we havent seen nothing like it , cup are great and always worth winning everytime , but after all the pieces put in place for dalglish for improvement it isnt happening now who is to blame comolli ? henry? werner? hicks and gillett ? or dalglish ?
