The club should have appealed and what is he apologising for as he is innocent and has nothing to apologise for. He did not intend any offence and he is the bigger person here, but what about Evra, is he going to apologise for the abuse that he gave to Suarez? Making sexual remarks about his sister is not on and he should have been banned as well, for the same amount of time! I hope this is an end to it, but the do gooders will not leave it there, the press will not and the idiots that keep making comments to players and upset are not helping either. The racist fans are certainly not helping!
We need a fairer system in the appeal hearing system and the commission does not sound all that independent and are too easily influenced by race and equality groups who shout louder than we do. I want racism and all abuse: disability abuse, sexual abuse, elderly abuse, all abuse out of football and sport. But some groups do not understand that someone can be innocent and still accused of something that they have not done and there are innocent people found liable by these so called commissions all the time. They are not courts of law and they do not require any evidence. That is wrong. If it is a case of one voice against another, then the case should go no further. Both players it seems said something abusive to each other and should have had their heads banged together, or at least shared the blame and had a one match ban each, and then moved on.
We have to make sure that Luis is not swept of by Real Madrid and that Liverpool refuse the bid or any request to transfer. We want him back in action next month and we want him to take his anger out on the ball; by putting it into the back of the Manchester United net several times on 11th February. His apology should shine with goals and Manchester be made to pay for their insult in the usual manner.
Take care, Luis, your fans are waiting for your return.
Now to all you idiots out there, leave off the racism, leave off the abuse of other players, get out of our city and our club and lets get back to enjoying our football without all these wild accusations and abusive chants on or off the field. Move on and grow up.
