So we're starting to be heavily linked(well, there's more in press) with Junior Hoilett and Demba Ba now. Whether it's true or not, who knows? But if we got these two during the window, I would probably say that we had a good transfer window.

Yes would be good buys and can probably get them both for a combined fee of around 18 mill but would still like to see a big signing someone like hazard and we will be very solid squad wise.

Don't think there's any chance that we'll get Hazard. If we get in the cCL, I think that we'll have some chance in the summer, think he'll go to spain myself.

I just can't see us getting any 'big name' signings this window. I don't think there will be a lot of clubs selling their star players during january.

I'm sure the clubs that are interested in him allready know his previous problems and they won't be to worried about it if they are going to make a bid. If we know he failed a medical at stoke I'm pretty sure all the premier league managers know about it and what he failed for and he hasn't had any problems since being in England and i believe it was his knee

i know we are struggling to find the net in games but does that mean we have to go out and panic buy again this january? we should have already learned our lesson by now. id only enter into the market for perfect additions to the side and not settle for the majority of sh!te we're currently being linked with.

suarez is only out for 6/7 games. our £35m striker is struggling to get into the side when suarez is available anyway, so do we really need another one on the bench? the run of games this month should give carroll the chance to find some form. he's been dropped when he's scored and played well like after the derby away win. considering the amount of money we payed for him and the fact he's still young we should be looking to give him a run in the side than to just keep throwing money at the club when there aren't really that many decent targets available.

i'd take any exceptional players that we could pick up cheap like cahill etc. but we should wait to see where we end up at the end of the season before we go splashing huge amounts of money on any more mediocre players
