I don't know where this idea that Adebayor is available is coming from. It is nonsense, he has been loaned out to Tottenham till the end of the season. Simple as that.

And in breaking news Chelsea and Liverpool are fighting for the signature of Tim Howard to replace either Fernando Torres or Andy Carroll. Howard has scored more goals in the past 5 weeks then the two strikers combined

Not sure if they have been mentioned yet but I heard there was interest in Podolski. I would of thought that we would be showing interest again for Ibrahim Afellay, I know he is currently injured but would certainly give us some pace down the wing.

Well before we call for more signings, perhaps we should just consider one thing.Since the beginning of the season, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll have only spent 69 minutes on the pitch together.

If we are to assume that those three players were to be the pivotal figures in our attacking play this season, it's quite understandable why we aren't in the top 4 at the moment. However in that case, you have to give credit to the backup players for keeping us just 3 points off fourth spot.

Perhaps we don't need as many signings as we think. Just sell Downing please....! I know it won't happen but a guy can hope...

Its not coming from anywhere its just an idea to bounce around (this is a forum). And if you think it is not possible to have a a clause in the loan agreement that would allow him to return to city and subsequently be sold thats nonsense. Spurs are now City's most credible challangers for the title and ade is crucial to that challange.

To be sold is possible, but to have him recalled so he could be loaned to us is not possible. Secondly, if you honestly believe city would recall him from loan just to sell him to us you must be deluded. I know it is a forum, and I don't mind discussion, but several people have asked why we don't LOAN Adebayor...that's why I am asking where it is coming from...No need to get all pre menstrual about it!
