Which leads us back to the point: We need a solid central defender - one that can play ball and not only defend please!
And we desperately need a playmaker that can dictate the offensive tempo from midfield!
Just watched highlights of city...we need at least 10 top top players just to be at the races...silva started on bench, no Johnson its gonna be a long road, don't think top 4 is likely anymore unless we put FSG money on the table again and put a serious run of points together
Yes City look fearsome allright, but I find myself hoping they don't blow up this year, as they are the only ones likely to knock their noisier neighbour's off their bloody perch! I think top 4 is still on and 3 points tomorrow will go a long way towards setting us up for that. I think an additional top class winger would help, as would a top CD.
