He will find it hard because no chairman or owner will touch him with a barge pole because of the way he is, he has caused trouble with our Owners, Valencia's owners, Inter Milan's owner and also Randy Lerner at Villa would'nt touch him with a sh1tty stick after meeting him, the man is toxic.

why not but to miss him out and then put in the debate the way it was just think to me he is dismissed and i dont think a massive banner would go down well in the main stand especially not in row 29

ha ha ha ... I'd rather get Rafa than Alex Mcleish

Houllier is never dismissed. Like you say he too brought success back to the club. some good wins against United too... and I remember that he had a connection with the city which went back a long time. It's just that he's further back in our history than rafa, that's all.

I applaud, respect, thank Houulier for his efforts and successes. I remember 2001 and the wins over United. I would be happy to see him on a flag. Don't worry about the main stand - gift it to someone on the kop to unfurl. Or just get an electronic image of a flag done and put it on a thread on here. we'll all acknowledge it.

I just challenge you to also say 'Thanks Rafa, for the good times and the memories. Shame it didn't work out, but thanks for trying and you'll always be part of our family'

by the way i have said on numorous occassions benitez deserves credit for his achivement , but also he well deserves the stick for the state he left the squad in which the club still hasnt recoved from , his moaning , his rants and his washing of the clubs dirty linen in public , plus the cway he is hanging around waiting to pounce if it does go belly up for dalglish i just think his movtives like they have been since about 2008 all about him and him alone when he started fighting with the board , pako, gerrard, carragher , alonso ,reina and near on every manager in the league .

All managers pay for their mistakes with the job in the end, who ever wants Kenny to pay right now for any mistakes he makes should be careful what they wish for it seems! especially with rafa waiting to pounce.

I think Faz: it's not your opinion that people are disagreeing with... more your inability to see other's opinions.

Well yes fair point. Amd with John Henry seemingly having as much idea as Silvio Berlusconi at running thing we might just get Rafa in on the basis that is what the fans are asking for (at that precise minute).
