Where did I dismiss anything Houilier achieved?,I have a lot of respect for what both men did for the club, unlike you who respects nothing but your own self serving opinion.

repeat. so what? That's football. Of course I'd much rather we won and I'd rather somebody else won it than United but that's life - sHi! happens.

There are young kids in Manchester too. good luck to them. let them enjoy their successes whilst it lasts. Mancs fought in the war too. Today we rememebered them as well not just soldiers who supported LFC.

All the more reason for us to acknowledge the success that Rafa achieved. Houllier too. even Evans, Moran, Souness etc. They all did their bit with varying degrees of success. I acknowledge and aplaud them all.

your putting stats up to prove benitez was better yes stats are good but in reality it was houllier who won the treble it was houllier who brought european glory back tio liverpool and put liverpool back on the european stage it was hyypia , smicer, kewell, dudek, finnan, carragher , cisse, hamann , baros, riise, gerrard even djimi traore and igor biscan who were the main bulk of the 2005 CL squad all houllier players if you like stats so much .

Why is it Houllier vs Rafa? Why can't we just say they both contributed something bothe were good in their own way and both had limitations?

The old 'it was Houilier's team',always rolled out by the Rafa haters, pathetic argument.

You let your hatred of a man cloud your judgement, thats the last I will say on this.

bbecause i believe he is a bigger legend than benitez so making a point about it and if managers are to be remembered and put on flags etc etc it should be houllier not benitez .
