Almost as ridicilous as saying that Houilier was a better manager and a bigger legend,dont be so dismissive of peoples opinions when you're own are pretty ridicilous. why isnt houllier a bigger legend he brought the glory years back to liverpool won trophies european and domestic finished 2nd in the league and the vast majority of his players where the bulk of the 2005 CL team and 2006 F.A.Cup team and you say i dismis people opinion because 1.it is a forum and 2 i think your very very wrong , so i counter it with i know what is right . Afternoon Faz. Of course it means something - but only to those who have an open mind.
It reflects the FACT that we were making progress. we were re-establishing ourselves as a feared opposition throughout europe. The co-effiecient is based on results which also take into account the quality of the opposition in those results. So it reflects the FACT that we consistently got good results against decent opposition.
United won the league. so what? well done to them - they had a better team and they got better results domestically. It had to happen. Let's hope some new teams win the league too. That's football. I don't think I'd be happy if LFC won the league 100 years in a row.
It's all about competing, entertaining, attempting to win, and winning once in a while too. And under Rafa we were doing that. Yes, could've been better - but you've got a blind spot if you can't acknowledge the positives.

Houilier won more laegue cups. houllier won more brought back the belief of winning and nice the way you just dismiss the treble and the UEFA Cup 2001 , just goes to show how shallow and blinkered the modern day liverpool supporter is sadly .
