I think in 2008/9 season we were the best club team in the world, I mean we were ripping the big boys for 3 or more goals. We had it all, don't know how we slipped up.

The moment was the facts speech I think he lost his marbles and then there was that coach business and when he started to wear a tracksuit. I realise he was having problems with the owners but he has form on that regard and as much as I dislike gillet anf hicks they were the owners back then and I think his behavoiur was childish and unprofessional.

I often wonder how well he would do with good backing,he was a good manager but his stubborness was his downfall,I don't think he realised that no manager gets it all there own way,he wanted complete control but couldn't get it and he was bitter about that.

Yeah, that must have been what ended his spell and started the downfall!

He wore the tracksuit because his suits didn't fit him anymore,he looked the picture of unhealth on tv yesterday.

just unbelievable best team in the world , do the best teams in the world not win nothing , do the best teams in the world get beat by the worst team in the league at the time(middleboro) the only win at home , plus all the other bad game west ham and fulham at home when liverpool were booed off the pitch , wigan away, everton in the league and cup , chelsea wiping the floor with liverpool in the champions league if liverpool were the best team in the league what did that make manchester united who won the league ? just an utter ridculous statement again where sentiment and blind faith clouds judgment .

Almost as ridicilous as saying that Houilier was a better manager and a bigger legend,dont be so dismissive of peoples opinions when you're own are pretty ridicilous.
