Here's the question

What do you think is the bare minimum expectation of what rafa needs to do to stay in a job next season?

Mine would be one finish top 4 and win a trophy (would count the carling cup)

The minimum as per the board is champions league qualification.

No club can demand the title because that is tough, plenty variables can go against you, chelsea are chasing the champions leage title, but they fail.

So as far as i remember tMoores ans parry minimum was champions league qualification.

Under Rafa the yanks cant cmplain of revenue, cos he has taken the club to the latter part of teh champions league in all his seasons bar one!

The fans expectations would differ slightly from the owners expectations, owners are after botton line profits. Fans want medals.

Top 4 of course...

But it's about time we win a trophy, and i think Rafa has to deliver the carling cup or FA cup at least....

haha:) after three 3 years without a trophy i wouldn't say no to the carling cup...

But of course the other three competitions are more important

let me think

if he makes the top 4 and wins teh carling cup, he will still have the job for sure. A good run in FA Cup and Champions League.
You cant sack a coach if he wins silverware, no matter how chea the trophy is.

I have great sympathy for any team that meets madrid in the 2nd round, but knowing rafa we will beat madrid. lol.
