hypothetical question , say the club finish 5th and 6th for another 2 or 3 seasons dont win nothing and go out the limelight a bit , and the foreign fans choose to follow spurs and man city what do the club do then why the locals have stopped going and the likes of the irish might not come over as much ? I would say that club would be donald ducked.

well they wont but putting all the clubs eggs in the asian TV PPV basket is maybe a bit shortsighted

What you dont realize is that LFC has a STRONG following of foreign supporters who have supported this club for plenty of years, 20+ myself. WE dont want supporters who are glory hunters, we want supporters who stick with our club through everything

WE dont want supporters who are glory hunters, we want supporters who stick with our club through everything fair enough but there are glory hunters who the club are looking at

WE dont want supporters who are glory hunters, we want supporters who stick with our club through everything Unfortunately you would need to question why a person would choose to support the football Club of another City in the first place if it was not for fame and glory, the thought would'nt enter your mind especialy if you have no ties with the area or people, dont make any sense and this is the type of fan the Club is trying to entice due to the money they spend.

Who is local is a tricky one though Crown. For example what if someone who lived in Warrington supported Liverpool its 20 miles away and there is no premiership club in Warrington. It’s equidistant between Manchester and Liverpool. Must Liverpudlians would not see these as local but effectively they are they could shop and drink in Liverpool pubs and taxi / train / bus home or date a Liverpool girl. How does all this work?
