Well I'm glad you've admitted labeling me anti downing was just completely wrong. And doing so is childish in fact, I maintain that. I thought konchesky and poulsen were not up to scratch for Liverpool FC, but I wasn't anti them, if they had a good game and turned it around I would have given credit where credit was due, and so should you. If downing scored a goal a game then I'd be very happy with that, he didn't...I want more from a 20 million pound england international than giving someone 1 chance per game. And so should you otherwise you've set your standards far too low.

team is not good enuff to do any better because it has reached its peak.
the only way the team can improve is if KD buys quality players that can go straight into the starting 11.

no top quality players want to come here unless weve got champions league football. Fact. We went for ashley young, he opted for that shower. Merieles was fcked off so he buggered off. we can still get 4th, only 26 games to go

what you expect lain.the players are mediocrity at its worst.what you see with adam downing henderson carrol lucas is all they will ever be.are you starting to realise that now lain. No!dont rub your hands with glee just yet! It may surprise you but i know our team isnt exactly full of messi types! so sit on yours hands for awhile yet cos unlike you i can see our players need to be given time to gel to see if they can grow into a good team,i dont/didnt expect miracles this year for sure theres no guarantees with any team thats being rebuilt,as you see i expect nothing! in the meantime im willing to try things out! are you? its seems its you who expects not me.WE CANT AFFORD READYMADE GREAT PLAYERS! i accept that! agree with your post, but its not that we cant afford top players, its more a case of weve got to get players who can get us to the champions league, and then and only then can we upgrade to a better player to improve the squad top post Thats my point really! if we cant buy top established players that we know are gr8,then its all a gamble,and noone can say what will/wont work can they its a tall order to rebuild from more or less scratch,hindsight is wonderful,but unrealistic,so as with city it could take a while yet!

Very open and entertaining game, Carroll should of scored to put us ahead on this opening minutes but its another 2 points dropped here while the other top contenders win. Big gap opening now, this is not going to be good.

I didn't single him out, someone else did for praise and the term 'class' something he did not show and what I said was in reaction to that.
it was me! Simply refering to the class he showed linking up with enrique at times as well as the pass that landed on carroll's toes. I thought it was classy. However, although you disagree, it was the only clear cut definite chance we had.
