If we end up 10th or 12th then the answer will be obvious if we get 5th then harder to judge. If he gets fourth bssed on today it will be a miracle.
Stanley we are getting worse mate, you can see that today, the manager looks well out of his depth. I thought Swansea today never broke sweat to secure a draw which is the most worrying part, it's not even as if they were hanging on because I you know and I know as we both went they were'nt, they were comfortable. I think the lessons learnt from the Roy Hodgson situation is that it's much better to cut your losses straight away than dragg it on, hand on heart from what you have seen and know from Dalglish can you honestly say you think it will get any better because I know I cant.

I think we should wait until the end of the season it would be absolute madness to sack him now. We are not out of fourth place yet. But I cannot disagree with your analysis of the game today Swansea were technically poor but they had no problem with getting a draw and might have sneaked a win. The other think I will say is does any of this surprise me? to be honest no. I agree with what Rafarendum says above that would be my position.

Forget the second half of last season. Kenny is doing a bad job this season so far. HE deserves more time. But not longer than this season if he can't get 4th.

How is dalglish doing a bad job. The team has created chance after chance this season apart from today. for fcs sake

1) He's been given plenty of money to spend, he's bought half the team, and spent a load on attacking players. We've scored 14 goals from 11 games in teh league. So we can hardly say his spending has been a success.

2) A manager should be improving the players at the club. Downign was better for Villa, Adam was better for Blackpool, Carroll was better for Newcastle, Henderson was better for Sunderland, and so on. The players don't seem to be improving.

3) ULtimately and most importantly, A manager needs to get the best out of his team. Swansea's manager has a worse team, and he got more out of his side than Kenny out of ours. It's simple. Pardew is getting more out of his Newcastle team (6 points ahead now) than kenny can. Looka round the league, and you'll see managers doing a better job than Kenny even though that have an inferior side.

So why is Kenny NOT doing a poor job.

1. 14 goals isnt good enough, if the side would of put the 11 shots weve had in the net, we would be up there with newcastle.

2. What a dumb ass [oops] comment, downing was fimiliar with his team mates at villa, as was carroll, henderson, adam. They where at there previous clubs for a couple of years. Henderson has only had one club before us, aswellas carroll. It takes time to gel mate, especially with 6 new players in the side.

3. Theres only the sides that are above us that are doing better in terms of points

1984 but we did,nt put them in the net did we? thats like saying we would not have drawn if we won. I accept the new players need to gel but from where I am sitting they do not look good enough so I don't think gelling is the main concern.

i dont want to see kenny go,but most of you lot would have been jumping all over Hodgson if he was in charge now.this is Kenny's team with Kenny's tactics and if the team and tactics are wrong then the blame lies with him and him alone.we are falling further and firther behind the teams we need to be matching and wether kenny is our king or not we need someone to get us in that top 4.

Agree to points 1 & 2 but nit sure about 3!

I didn't see the game but it seems we were p1ss poor an against Swansea it's not good enough but as ha been posted several times, we may have only scored 14 goals but we've also hit the woodwork 10 times. If half of those go in them it would be 19 goals which isn't bad so I think we have been creating chances just not finishing well enough.
