Embarrassingly moronic thread!
How can you blame Dalglish for such an awful performance from the players. He put out a team more than capable of winning.
GK - Spanish international - one of top 5 goalies in the world RB - Regular England international LB - knocking on the door for a Spain shirt CB - Danish & Slovakian internationals RM - Recently capped England international - replaced by Dutch World cup finalist CM - Scottish international CM - Brazilian international LM - England international F - England's new Alan Shearer - replaced by Welsh international F - Uraguay Copa America winner and Ballon D'or finalist
Many fans would have picked a similar team - but whatever permeation you pick they should beat a newly promoted club with hardly any internationals at home!
By calling for KK's head you're just letting the players off the hook.
Actually you're right in pointing out the strength of our squad. The problem is - why isn't KD capable of using this team to turn over swansea? Is it a problem with the players or the manager? I'm not going against KD but I certainly think that a good manager would be able to consistently grind out wins even on bad days.

I was at the match and at the end one or two boos coming out of the crowd faint but there. Not aimed at Dalglish but fans are impatient in todays world and if we dont get fourth then this time next season they will be mark my words. As far as the thread goes its way off base you cannot go round sacking after every bad spell. I was not in favour of Dalglish being brought back and am not now but he is the manager and we have to give him a fair crack. This thread is premature and out of order. Your wrong Stanley, I too was at the game today, you cant allow this thing to fester otherwise it will snowball. I dont know how you can carry on with a manager who has'nt a clue what he's doing, team selections, substitutions, formations and tactics are all a complete mess and he is not clever enough to even have a back up plan. The problem with people with your thoughts Stanley about not sacking managers is that they are 30 years ago, I dont care how much time a manager has been in charge if he is not good enough and out of his depth he needs to be replaced, prolonging it just makes the situation worse anyway what you going to do in January, give him more funds to waste like the last lot he spent.

Crown paints I do understand where you are coming from and I have some sympathy. I also am not a Dalglish fan well not as manager anyway. But I don't agree the sticking with your manager is something from 30 years ago its true today as then. I think we should at least give him a full season and judge it then. If we end up 10th or 12th then the answer will be obvious if we get 5th then harder to judge. If he gets fourth bssed on today it will be a miracle.

What a shame you weren't born a man united fan and standing in the stretford end in the late 1980s. You might have helped rewrite history for the better!

Stanley we are getting worse mate, you can see that today, the manager looks well out of his depth. I thought Swansea today never broke sweat to secure a draw which is the most worrying part, it's not even as if they were hanging on because I you know and I know as we both went they were'nt, they were comfortable. I think the lessons learnt from the Roy Hodgson situation is that it's much better to cut your losses straight away than dragg it on, hand on heart from what you have seen and know from Dalglish can you honestly say you think it will get any better because I know I cant.

Sorry people after today the man has been well and truly found out, he's so far out of his depth it's untrue, poor team selections and slow substitutions the man simply had no plan B today, he just stood with his arms folded or with his hands in his pockets. I think today was a bit of a watershed as the crowd turned with booing at the final whistle, if we act quickly we can hopefuly get someone in by xmas, let Steve Clark do the caretaker role until we can appoint someone permanent, this cant go on and needs to be sorted quickly. unfuckingbelievable

I think you're making the point even more clear that Dalglish is not doing a good job. The team you list is a good team. Far better than Swanseas. We were at home. We have no european football, so the players aren't tired. We have a couple of injuries, but not that bad all in all. It's again just one game, so I wouldn't say sack him. But lose against Chelsea and Man City, and we'll be way behind top 4. And if he doesn't get top 4, he needs to be sacked. None of the Liverpool managers in recent times have had as much money to spend, no European football distractions, and a supportive board. If all Kenny can do with that is this kind of performance, then he's failing badly. It's not good enough, and no the players aren't to blame. The manager is always ultimately to blame. Kenny has signed half the team! It's his team now. By blaming the players I think you're letting Kenny off the hook. No one has any patience anymore, this is the same manager that took us above the relegation zone to 6th.The same manager who people wanted in the job. People have no faith whatsoever no more, it really is a lack of intelligence. We battered the mancs, we battered norwich, we should f had 3 points at stoke. Weve created chances everygame this season bar today, and our downfall has been not taking them. Its the expansive football that dalglish lets his players have that create the chances, why are people pointing the finger at dalglish, is he at fault for not putting the ball in the net? No is he FCK. Today in the league is the first time ive seen us not create chances that we have done in previous games. If wed have put the ball in the net, instead of the ball hitting the woodwork, we'd be in a much better position Lack of intelligence, and a lack of football education is what people have on these forums, they think they no it all, when in truth they havent got a clue
