After paying my £800 in the summer which I accepted gracefully without whining or moaning the club has neglected to send the new ticket cards. So for both the Sunderland and Bolton game had to queue up at the ticket office (great fun before the game) explanation where the new tickets are there came none! So massive frustration trying to sort it all out but I suppose that’s the price you pay when tickets for the game are priced so low. Off to watch victor meldrew now on sky to reflect my mood. SO Stanley where do you stand with this topic, you seem to be similar to me in that you have held your season ticket a very long time, do you see a fan who buys a shirt every few years and lives in somewhere like the far easy and has never been to Anfield the same as you when it comes to supporting the Club, thats all I am talking about not going into the OOT thing. I think its been established that you are far far superior to any other fan! afer all you do go to every game, you do spend alot on your season ticket and whats more have done for years! really how can anyone ever compete with that? now that youve had it confirmed can we change that record now? or does your ego need a little more rubbing?

Ermm no I think someone who commits to thick end of £1000 every year up front is displaying a high level of committment unless you are stinking rich which we are not. That said the days of the die hard fan who follows the reds home and away and to the finals are slowing coming to an end. No one can take those days away from me but it won't go on like it was in the past. I get a text a day from either Liverpool or Man U (Man U for business) and they are selling stuff all day every day. The new fan is world wide and buys products in bits and bobs the club goes for small purchases but in huge volume. Clubs are very very commecial and corporate. We are the old type of fans and a dying breed and I know that comment will set me up for all sorts of insults about time etc.
yes that's is committment but there are many of us who envy those of you living in the city being able to go to every game. last season for example i had to pay £400 just to get over and watch one game...

I agree and I admire immensely Irish and Scandinavian fans who travel over and pay the travel costs on top of the sky high ticket prices.
