There's also the fact that the Liverpool fans have shown him a whole lot of love since he arrived and has become a massive fan favourite. If he were to leave and go to Barca he'd have a harder time to become such an icon. He's in the perfect position with us to be seen as the superstar and the reason behind our revival along with King Kenny.

No matter who you are and what your dreams are everybody loves to be loved and seen as a hero in their sport, don't underestimate the holding power of the Liverpool fans themselves, I can see us keeping hold of Suarez for a long time as long as we do maintain the progess we're now making, lack of champions league footy would of course be an obvious catalyst for any move so let's not allow that to happen!

How long shall we give Kenny? How long before Suarez leaves? Both have been here six months have a word with yourself your as depressing as fook. Would hate to be stuck in your mindframe.

i think we are all worrying about 'what ifs'. What if Suarez retires after the Copa saying he has achieved all he can?! What if Liverpool post operating losses of 500 million? Shheeesh! Masch and Torres screw us over a bit and then Tevez wants out of Man city and we suddenly judge all South Americans on this. What about Lucas? He's playing well for us and he hasn't left ....yet!

no player is bigger than the club. we forgot torres and got suarez if suarez goes so be it - he wont be going anywhere for a long while though

This is liverpool football club mate. When Gerrard retires, we will unearth a new Gerrard, when Carragher retires, we will unearth a new Carra. When Torres left, we unearthed a new Torres. No one is bigger than the club and when his time comes to leave we will get an even better player. But for the time being lets enjoy him and I certainly wouldn't be schocked when he decides to leave because as past experiences suggest, the club will always be better and improve when someone leaves thinking he is bigger.
