Who've Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Spurs and any other bloody club in Spain, Italy or frigging Germany signed?!

Ye i agree smurph knowone is making masses of signings yet... anyone who knows football knows that the big and most important signings happen not long off deadline day... if not on deadline day just before it SLAMS SHUT!!

Id rather have N'zogbia over downing personally, more skill/flare, i think hes alot more exciting as a player. There are plenty of candidates i would have over either of them tho.. Di maria etc

can't say i seen much of downing but thats my concern, i know all about nzogbia but nothing about downing , i fear downing may be a bit too workmanlike and we have enough grafters in the squad. Much rather see mata , there or who knows we might get both nzog and mata?

agree with u armitage..zogbia is more of a goal scoring threat as well....and might sound bs but downing doesnt look half good in compilation videos smile why wasting so much momey on him then

It looks more and more that we are missing out on both. Aston Villa will be favourite to get Charles N'Zogbia as a replacement for Cashley Young. Stewart Downing have also come out that he only wants to join club that are in European competition or he would rather stay in Aston Villa. Hope that this is only paper talk but if that is true then I think King Kenny and Damien Comolli have to look elsewhere or even in the lower league to unveil some unpolished gems like what he did during the first stint in charge 20 years ago...
