Would love for Wickham to join the ranks at Anfield. Even if it cost us up to 10m-12m. Every transfer is a risk but this risk is worth taking as he can only get better. If he can score a fair amount of goals at Ipswich , then it would be expecially more with people like Stevie G and Suarez around him. Also I think we need to get a back up striker as soon as possible as we all know that David Ngog will most probably leave the Reds. Would rather we get the replacemnt now at prices 10m to 12m before selling Ngog. Rather then selling Ngog first and then getting kind of desperate to get the replacement as clubs know that as we need the player urgently then they will try to put us to ransom and bring the prices sky high.

Sorry if my opinion is not the same as our fellow Kopites.
Just voicing out whatI thought.

Thanks murph.
Just worried I might get slated as some of us do really have different opinion.

Dont worry about getting slated or upsetting anyone Durg. Freedom of choice and all that. Most things are taken in the correct way but it does get a little heated now and again but you'll be fine. Your recent posts show you'll be a good assist to the forum. wink

The way it looks we will be playing a 433 next term (no source, personal opinion) and if that's the case & we're looking at width we will already have Carroll, Suarez, Kuyt and Pacheco as strikers, do we honestly need Wickham?

Buy and loan back for the season as won't break into the squad but if has a wonder season could easily double his value.

I would have preferred if Ngog stayed, he was on fire in the Premier League this year
