his agent said that he would rather go to mersyside even if it means he is in the youth set up the first few years

Not too fust on Wickham. Granted, he's a talent with star potential but I don't think we should be looking at a "target man" sort when we have a young Suarez in any sense with Pacheco. Tipped to be world class and he has to start to be blooded now if we want to get the best out of him.

As good as some of the fans think Pacheco is, there are people in higher places who haven't given him too much of a go and there's obviously a reason for that....there must be something he hasn't got! So if the have a chance to bring in someone they think would be better then they should do it and Connor Wickham seems to be that one....We're not the on;y club chasing him so there must be something there....don't see too many clubs trying to buy Pacheco!
Don't get me wrong, I think Pacheco has talent but he must be missing something to continually be over looked!

Fair point, though hopefully he gets some game time this year or goes out on a loan spell. When he came in everyone was expecting huge things of the kid, I think we can still get it out of him given some time on a pitch, be it Anfield or otherwise.

everyone raves about this pacheco but as stated earlier hes ever really impressed me when hes been given the odd euro game and there must be a reason why hes being overlooked.
