Hope to god we don't go for parker or adam. That would be same old Liverpool.
never been too keen on adam. i think the thinking of well they are better then paulson and co is the wrong way to go. we are wanting to compete with utd and co so we need to ask would they get into their team. we need better players then our rivals

Carrick,Fletcher, Hargreaves, Anderson, Scholes, Gibson
and let's assume that we will sign Parker and Adam and sell Aquilani and Cole - let's have a look at our central midfielders:
Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, Parker, Adam, Spearing, Shelvey.
Do you serriouslly think that Utd have strong central midfield?? Because I envy none of these players.
They have strong wings and defence - and that's their main weapon. They have ONE trully atacking miedfielder - Anderson - and he is not a regular - because they play Carrick and Fletcher whenever they can - 2xDM and strong wings.
I think Parker and Adam will give very good depth of the central miedfield possitions. Because we saw what happend when it was no Gerrard and Meireles against Tottenham - tottal lack of creativity. Lucas and Jay are not enough for big games - they can do the job when they have at least one more player who will help them for example - Parker or Adam.
