Isn't he about 30 ? therefore we'd get about one or two good seasons from him.....nah we gotta plan long term. Non starter for me.

parker has alot more then 2 years in him more like 4 a holding midfielder dosent need to be fast thats why they can go for much longer at a higher level

I honestly can't think of anything I got wrong and I shall explain why.

Take Scott Parker for example. I said we are in for him, we are trying to sign him, I didn't say, and this is the important bit, that we will or will not sign him, how could I? Even Comolli and Dalglish couldn't make that claim at the moment.

I never say we will sign player xxxxxxxxxxx.

People often misquote me, that's the problem.

A week ago I said we were in for him, I believe that 100%. Whether or not we'll sign him I do not know and neither does anyone else at this time.

Personally I think we have a good chance

By saying "we are in for xxxxxx" is very non-commital and means you can never be wrong unless the club comes out and says that they have never been interested and haven't pursued the player. I could say we are in for Messi and no one here could prove me wrong....

But everyone would know you were taking the pi55 - that's the difference. Dunk tends to finger the people we are actually interested in, but he has no control over anything, particularly how much/little the management team values a target. Nothing is certain in football. He's doing a great job, frankly.

Hope to god we don't go for parker or adam. That would be same old Liverpool.
