PLayer for player, we have a much much better team than them. We're at home and we've just been pathetic. Even good players like Gerrard were shocking.

he made the changes but made no impact we scored the gerrard gave away a terrible mistake i wouldnt mind but skertl had it cleared i was disgusted to say the least i have never seen liverpool play as bad at anfiel never there is something terribly wrong somewhere

he did his usual made the changes at the wrong time and the wrong changes ...... that is one aspect of the game he gets wrong time and time again - substitutions! voronin has shown he is not good enough to wear the red shirt of liverpool yet he gets on the bench ahead of better players like pacheco
and why the hell wasn't riera given a chance to come on? rafa messed up against villa but hopefully he will turn it around and the team will go on from here and learn a big big lesson
i think every player has to be blamed for this game. They looked awful and non-spirited. Worse still, they gave up after the 3rd goal... This is NOT the Liverpool style of play... Something is definitely bothering the players...
As with most things, Zonal marking itself isn't the problem. If you know how to defend properly, you can play zonal, man to man whatever. We've been bad at set pieces for years (even before Rafa). Our centre backs look weak in the air since Hyppia left.
I also sensed a lotof bad attitude from the players. Maybe they feel Rafa is off. Something is very wrong at Liverpool, and it isn't anything to do with Xabi Alonso. But the manager does have to take some blame here.
I mean, I don't blame Rafa if he doesn't bring us the title. We have two idiots owning the club. But if you have a team like Liverpool's, you're at home, and out of the 11 players, you have probably 9 that are better than the opposition's team, then you should perform a lot better than that. Disappointed.
