we all gutted, but its our first home loss since december 2007. we can try get things back on track again. but this is a huge setback

Alonso has gone................? i dont think he is the root cause, but he is a weak link, thats for sure.

i dont know EMP, i cant say what the manager got to do. The way i saw the game, it seemed like Villa had a gameplane to counter us, they didnt let us play, it seemed at times that Reina didnt know who to pass the ball to, no space, torres didnt have enough time on the ball and he was shut out. Stevie didnt get into the box often. Lucas wasnt playing well. Villa ensured we didnt use the jhonson threat dont the wings. tooo many thngs went wrong.

I'll ask again.  WHAT IS SO DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS TEAM COMPARED TO LAST SEASON...apart from the loss of Alonso.... and he didn't even play in the 4-0 mauling of Manure don't forget, possibly the best performance of the season too.

my opinion is the team is not confortable, they are not as confident as last season. They are a bit nervous. I think lucas is a weak link, the boy is being lambastd by ex football stars, the fans. etc. We the same team, but not on the same wavelength

gerrard needs to be dropped - his head doesn't look in it at the moment ....... torres looks tired and lacklustre ..... and to be honest apart from reina and johnson i can't think of any players who have looked good so far this season .... insua is showing signs but still too inconsistent ...... we have brought back voronin when he is clearly not good enough rather than giving kids a chance which can't help the atmosphere around the club ........ and what the hell does reira have to do to get a game???? he was consistently decent last season .... never outstandingly admittedly but he gave us width and we are lacking that badly at the moment

its quiet simple really...lucas is like a scared baby on the pitch but rafa plays him for ego purposes and because he is the most cautious manager off all time.zonal marking is so bad its not even worth discussing and torres looks extremely peeed off.
now the owners are crap no doubt but rafa is equally crap and both should go,league is over hasn't even begun and we are already 6points behind chelsea...4th spot is a danger.city and spurs are both better than us.
rafa re-injected the club with craphead voronin,kept lucas,dossenna etc.
the real reason we came 2nd is ,the proper football man, xabi-intelligent,mannerly and a top top player.. thanks rafa ,can't wait to see lucas next saturday Emp, you've lost it.
