I dont think he is a very good player! I think he will be average at liverpool and i think it is a massive gamble and a lot of money! I would rather have D Bent to be honest! He is proven in the PL. what we need in January is proven players in the PL to get us moving upwards in the league. Downing, Young, SWP, C.Cole, Warnock, Zogbia etc etc. we need players that can hit the ground running. we should be making big gambles in the summer. at the moment we are doing really bad (although we are improving) so I think we should play it safe in jan!
Bent is a proven goal scorer in Pl yes i have to agree with that but with smaller clubs. I dont think he will perform in big clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Scum etc. Take a look at Robbie Keane for an example. He Was [oops] when he don the red jersey. Think Suarez will be a good buy no doubt. He did well in the World Cup and in the Dutch league.
