UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary board will meet in Paris on Thursday to determine if Mamadou Sakho should face further punishment or exoneration in relation to failing a drugs test.
The Liverpool defender’s legal team will argue that the substance he was tested positive for shouldn’t be deemed illegal.
Sakho’s 30-day provisional suspension ended on May 28th and his team will argue that a further ban would be unjust.
