Sadio Mané injury news

We’ve received confirmation that the injury that Sadio Mané sustained yesterday isn’t serious but he does look set to miss Saturday’s trip to Burnley.

The £30million new boy was taken to hospital yesterday following a collision during a training session at Melwood which left him with some serious discomfort in his shoulder.

Fortunately scans showed that there was no dislocation and that he had only sustained some muscle damage. As we reported yesterday, he was able to drive himself home despite his left arm being in a sling.

Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp expect him to be fit for the clash with Tottenham (away) on 27th August.
