Sadio Mané injury news

As you will be aware, Sadio Mané was substituted just over an hour in to Senegal’s 2-0 win over Namibia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the weekend.

Supporters were lead to believe that the decision was only “precautionary” but speculation soon started to spread that the 24-year-old £34million signing had sustained a worrying knee injury.

Although there is no official news at this time, KOPTALK® sources are reporting that Mané is “ok”.

Liverpool play Leicester City at home this Saturday. As that game approaches we will of course be able to update you further.

UPDATE: Mané is back at Melwood and is fine. He is available to face Leicester.
