Sadio Mané out for up to 6 weeks

Sadio Mané could be out of action for up to six weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury while on international duty.

The Liverpool winger was withdrawn in the final minute of Senegal’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over the Cape Verde Islands on Saturday and it has now been confirmed that this was as a result of injury.

If Mané is out for the full duration he could miss as many as 9 games.
