Ryan Fulton joins Portsmouth on loan

Liverpool goalkeeper Ryan Fulton (19) has joined Portsmouth on loan.

The Scotland Under 21 international, who recently signed a new long-term contract with the Reds, is expected to stay with Pompey until the end of the season although we can recall him after a month if necessary as it’s considered a youth loan.

With Danny Ward having been recalled from Aberdeen, a decision has been made to let Fulton go out in the hope of gaining valuable experience.

He is expected to provide competition for Portsmouth goalkeepers Brian Murphy and Paul Jones.
