Ovie Ejaria is expected to be handed his Liverpool debut against Derby County this evening.
The 18-year-old midfielder was an unused substitute against Chelsea last Friday but looks set to feature against The Rams in the League Cup tonight.
Ejaria made the switch from Arsenal to Liverpool in 2014 having spent 9 years with The Gunners.
Described as ‘a talented and industrious central midfielder’, the London-born Ejaria was involved in Liverpool’s pre-season games against Fleetwood, Tranmere and Huddersfield and was a member of the squad that took part in the the club’s tour of America.
A groin injury kept him out at the beginning of the season but he’s since made his comeback for the Under 23s.
Although many consider him best at home in the centre, he is also comfortable playing out wide.
It is claimed that he turned down Manchester United to sign for Liverpool.
